BUCKHEAD REPUBLICANS JUNE MEETING

Join us and welcome two distinguished Georgia Public Service Commissioners who will be speaking at our meeting this month on Tuesday, June 12th. This is a great time to get to know your commissioners and hear their thoughts on the issues that concern our local community. We meet at Cross Creek Café in Buckhead. Socializing starts at 6:30 pm. The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 pm will adjourn by 8:15 pm.
Tim Echols, PSC Commissioner & Vice-Chairman from District 2, will speak about the grave problem of sex trafficking in Atlanta and what we can do as citizens to help fight it. He will also fill us in on his recent trip to China where he represented Georgia. Chuck Eaton, PSC Commissioner from District 3, will speak about our utility rates and the building of the Vogtle nuclear power plant. Vogtle is the only power plant of its kind in the United States and there is much controversy about how Georgia taxpayers should fund it.
We will also be discussing the May 22nd Primary Election Results – so stay tuned for more information! You do not have to RSVP to attend, just plan on coming and bring a friend!
